I like this collection more than the first volume. think it’s because I’m spotting more jeweltones…but also because both of the blushes are cooler colors. One is even an actual purple!! Wicked Wax Museum and Vampire Breath were the thinnest coverage - just a few thin spots on each, though they are closer to “semi-opaque” than fully opaque. Either will look interesting over any colored base.
This particular kit was long gone by the time I started buying BE…but all of the color-pieces (except the lipstick) were still around and fairly easily available. I can use the two eyeshadows together, but I really prefer using them alongside a lighter shade to balance them out. The blush is a bit too deep for use as a blush, but I can use it on my lids or as a lighter contour shade.
I have zero information on when this was released or where it was available. I’m going to guess that it was yet another QVC-exclusive kit from BE’s earlier (pre-2006) years, but I could be totally wrong on that.
Another of the Get-The-Look kits that gave a slight discount when buying the eyeshadows (at the time, you saved $1 per shadow.) I like this trio, and think it will appeal more than a few of the other GTL groupings. Moss is more of a greened brown than a green, so it acts like a cooler neutral rather than a cool-toned shade.
