In 2013 I:
I purchased this shade in one of my first orders from BFTE (so sometime in mid-2012), and only just got around to swatching it after Christmas 2013. (See why I’m so happy that my product backlog has diminished??? I’m constantly rediscovering things.) At some point in 2013, this color was discontinued. I don’t know exactly when; I just remember noticing it some time in June or July, when I was prepping my post for BFTE’s Pro Eye Shadow...
I bought three jars of this color when it was being phased out of BFTE’s inventory, back in late 2012 (I forget exactly when.) Now I wish I’d bought a few more jars!! I love this eyeshadow: the shade, the color depth, the pigmentation, the finish. I love it!
I only saw this color when buying from an Ebay seller when the NYX Chromes were in the square packaging. I’m not sure why NYX moved from the square packaging to entirely discontinuing the line; but I do know that of the four colors I’ve gotten in the square packaging, the pigmentation levels have been lower on almost all of them.
Very very pale pastel pink. Almost more of a white-pink shade. I can get this to work as a highlighter, but the predominant color that I see, when this is applied, really is “soft white” rather than pink. I think most of that comes from the metallic finish being very reflective, and the albedo overpowering any hints of the super-soft pink this eyeshadow has.
Nearly tulip-pink with cooler tones and a slightly gold shimmer. There’s very good color payoff - this isn’t a whispery, disappearing pink that’s too shy to show itself. (You could probably use this as a blush, IF you don’t mind the shimmer factor.)
