Shiro Cosmetics’ Augustus Waters

The August 2013 Color of the Month. In the pot, it looks like “cool summer swimming pool.” It applies quite a bit softer, though - the foiled application in particular is very very…understated. That’s a good way to put it.

So many of Shiro’s other eyeshadows (and other CoTM colors) have such great pigmentation, this one definitely stands out as a less-than-stellar performer.

An upside is, if blue eyeshadow has always intimidated you just a bit, this would have been a good “toe in the water” shade. If it weren’t limited edition, and already long since discontinued.
