Milani Cosmetics’ Color Statement Lipstick collection

I was induced to try this lineup when their Color Statement Moisture Matte lipsticks came out. Before that, they hadn’t registered on my radar much. I was pretty cautious about what lipsticks I purchased because I don’t wear lipsticks much, so hadn’t paid attention to which drugstore brands were considered decent, excellent or kind of “meh.” First off, the bad point: these have a strong scent to them. It’s either grapeseed oil, or a chemical that smells like intensified grapeseed oil. It dissipates fairly quickly - much quicker than the creme brulee smell from MAC lipsticks does - but it is there. Other than that, these are good quality! They’re just over USD$5, and cover fully and evenly with 1-2 strokes.
